This blog features the book by Brian Hedges, Christ Formed in You, which was accepted for publication by Shepherd Press in the Fall of 2008 and is being edited by Kevin Meath.
Shepherd Press has been kind enough to allow Brian and I to start this blog as an experiment, one designed to take some of the mystery out of the publishing process. We want to take parts of the editing phase public, primarily to see if anyone, including ourselves, finds it interesting. What exactly happens during editing? Some people are aware it can often take a good while, but few people understand exactly why.
To help shed some light, every now and then Brian or I will post on the book's progress. Come look over our shoulders as we take the manuscript down that long road from pretty much done to completely done, and feel free to leave comments.
